Star Gate

This amusement ride has two cars; the central column is raised (hydraulically) lifting the cars and riders of about 1.5 m above the ground.

As the ride begins to operate, the arms first swing and then rotate in opposing directions. The Star Gate can achieve a max. acceleration of 3 G.
